We of St. Bernadette Parish, are a Eucharistic Community, created by the Father, nourished by the Lord and led by the Holy Spirit. We are to be the eyes, ears, hands and heart of Christ, living by His example, sharing the Good News in Word and deed.
|What a joy it is for me to announce an exciting event that Saint Bernadette Parish, along with North American Martyrs Parish, is sponsoring on Saturday, November 1st: The New Evangelization for the New Millennium Conference. This half day event that will feature well known, popular Catholic speakers that will help inspire and strengthen our faith in a time that is increasingly challenging to be a faithful Catholic. Today, the Church recognizes the need for a new evangelization – a journey of faith, worship, and witness. We are called to renew the spirit of the faithful. However, we are also called to reach out to those who are baptized but have lost a living sense of faith, as well as those who have never heard the gospel. Therefore, The New Evangelization for the New Millennium Conference is a great opportunity to renew our spiritual journey and rediscover the joy and trust when we have a relationship with God. Upon finding this new relationship with God, we enthusiastically want to share our faith with others.
The event will begin at 1:00 PM and will end after the Mass which begins at 4:30 PM and will suffice for Sunday obligation. You can register online on this website (please click the blue button to the left of this page) or register by mail. Register today and bring others with you! We hope to attract two thousand individuals -- men and women, young and old -- and experience a powerful personal encounter with Jesus Christ!
I hope to see you on November 1st,
Peace in Christ,
Father Anthony Gargotta
